Overall the coaches are very successful, they have spacious luggage bays, comfortable seats and lots of legroom(although I'm not very tall). On longer journeys I use a resting method I picked up from small primates while working in circuses in western Europe, I call it "gibon", I stand up and relieve the weight of the body carried by the legs by suspending my torso on the rails of the overhead storage compartments. Sometimes the lack of a toilet can be problematic, but my colleagues deal with it in their own way. Meanwhile the problem of the German construction lies in very dangerous stairs.
